Covid-19: One Year Later

I’d like to start this post with a sincere apology. This pandemic took a toll on all of us, but I did not realize how much of a toll it would take on me, and the extended pause it would bring to Producing While Asian.

Professionally, I lost nearly all of my production opportunities, my production company LA TI DO Productions was forced to pivot like many arts organizations of its type, and the future of what my livelihood would be was bleak.

Personally, I lost several family members to cancer and then one dear uncle to the Coronavirus in February 2021 who suffered the same fate as over 525,000 people in the United States and millions globally.

Overall, there was much to be processed and re-thought, and now - one year after the initial lockdowns in America - Producing While Asian is finally taking a second try at its official launch!

We’re coming back with wonderful guests lined up for you to meet in posts about their brands and projects they’ve created during the quarantine. Also - you’re reading about it here first! - PWA is also gearing up for a brand spankin’ new podcast to launch this year in Asian Pacific American History Month, so be sure to keep visiting our blog and follow our social media channels to know as soon as there is an update.

So let’s try this again: Welcome to Producing While Asian!
