Producing While Asian: The Podcast, Season 2

Hello PWA Fans!

On Wednesday, March 9, 2022, the second season of Producing While Asian hits all major podcast streaming/downloading platforms with 26 episodes released bi-weekly and special weekly episode drops in Asian Pacific American Heritage Month and Filipino American History month.

Our first episode will feature Broadway’s own Telly Leung (L) and Aaron J. Albano (R) discussing a new documentary they produced entitled Ensemble to be released on Broadway On Demand on Friday, March 11. Be sure to tune in to hear all about it!

If you’re new to the podcast and this blog, here is the official description of what you can expect:

“Producing While Asian presents conversations with producers, production staff, and recognizable personalities who identify as Asian and Asian American and/or BIPOC, or with allies who support this community. Host Don Mike Mendoza leads each interview with people he’s met since the beginning of his tenure as Executive Artistic Director of LA TI DO Productions, and also gives insights into his own projects too. The Producing While Asian podcast was created to uplift the voices and creations of the widespread AAPI community and its supporters in the arts and entertainment industry in a time when highlighting these people and projects is imperative.”

Here’s some of the folks you’ll hear from:

March 23: Angela Chan Stopa, Creator of The Cre8sian Project
April 6: Alex Grubbs, Clubhouse and Kumu USA Influencer and Content Creator
April 20: Cheryl Daro, Founder and Co-Executive Producer of The Marahuyo Festival and Producer at Marshun Entertainment
